With the seasons constantly changing, I change up my skincare routine & products depending on the weather. I know it sounds excessive but it really does help and I totally see the difference when I change it up. My skin type is dry, like super dry - so if there's any humidity in the air, Im happy! All these products are constantly getting repurchased and I'm SO excited to share them with you because they really are THAT life changing.
|Moisturizer| IT Cosmetics Confidence in a Cream. I've posted about this moisturizer SO many times on my Instagram account. The consistency is a thicker cream in a Jar, absorbs quickly and I feel like it gives my face a little plumping which I love for right before putting on my makeup. After days outside in the sun, I love this for night time and apply a thick layer on. My skin eats it up. Its perfect under makeup too and doesn't leave any residue. It has a slight fragrance to it, but nothing that lingers or is too strong.
|Serum| Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum. In the beginning of quarantine, I totally slacked on my skincare routine. I'm not sure if it was a shock to my skin from not exfoliating as much or not wearing makeup daily, but my "smooth as a baby butt" face quickly turned to what felt like sandpaper. At the time Sephora had their 20% of VIB sale, and I'm so happy I added this to my order. On the product label it claims to lift away dead skin cells and resurfaces dull congested skin- and it actually did, like instantly! Within one night of using the Serum, 50% of the sandpaper skin was gone. I continued to use it every other night as directed and the rest was gone within the week. My face tingled a little the first 5 minutes it was on, but it was nothing I couldn't handle. Currently, I've been applying this serum 2-3 nights a week by itself after washing my face just as a preventative and to keep my skin sandpaper free and luminous. (Shameless Plug: I offer Glycolic Peel Mini Facials as one of my services to my clients, if this is something your interest in, email me ;))
|Lip Mask| Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask. The fact that I even have a "must have" lip mask, I had to ask myself.. "who do I actually think I AM?" But once you get your hands on this.. well lips.. you'll never, ever be able to live without this. I currently have the Vanilla Flavor and Original (Berry flavor) and the berry is my favorite. Its marketed as a sleeping mask but I use it in place of a chap stick to hydrate and prep my lips. anddd It tastes really good too so it gets brownie points for that too
|Body Scrub| Trader Joe's Lavender Body Scrub. I can't tell you how many of these in my lifetime I've purchased. You can find this in the Health & Beauty Aisle at Trader Joe's. I use this in the shower after I wash my body or shave my legs, and it leaves my skin so smooth & moisturized so I don't have to use body lotion when I get out. I'm pretty confident in saying that this single handedly cleared up my eczema I get annually on my ankles too. You'll try it once and totally get why this is a must have for the rest of your life. Your welcome in advance sis :)
|Self Tanner| Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer. For those awkward days between spring and summer where its warm enough to wear a tank top instead of sweaters, but you haven't had a chance to lay out and get a tan yet- This has been my best friend. I apply at night it as I would a body lotion with my hands and it gives me a light, gradual, even tan in one application. The more you layer daily, the darker the color will get. The color is natural and nothing like those pumped foam self tanners you have to apply with a mitt and shower off 8 hours later. Its my go-to for when I'm feeling a little pale and just want a healthy glow. I use the color "Medium to Tan" and its the perfect color.
